This in-depth academic masterclass explores the cosmovisión of the Shipibo-Conibo tradition, the structure and function of ayahuasca ceremonies, and how the Unified Ancestral Medicine Model (UAMM) bridges ancestral practices with contemporary psychospiritual frameworks.


Led by Elder Lauro Hinostroza, master vegetalista from Ucayali, and Oscar Iván O’Farrill Cobo, Clinical Psychologist, traditional mexican doctor, and trauma specialist, the session will cover:

  • Structure and ethics of Shipibo ikaros as diagnostic tools

  • The Unified Ancestral Medicine Model

  • Principles of spiritual hygiene and energetic containment

  • Trauma resolution, neurobiology and endogenous trance

  • Safety, preparation, and integration protocols for ceremonial work


This masterclass serves as a foundational orientation for all participants attending the in-person retreat and is mandatory for postgraduate diploma students in the Therapeutic Guidance with Ancestral Medicines and Entheogens program (Protocolo Q × Ubiquity University).

This retreat is a deep ceremonial immersion into the ayahuasca healing systems of the Shipibo-Conibo people, held in full accordance with ancestral ritual, energetic containment, and clinical safety.


Participants undergo two night ceremonies, silent dieta preparation, and somatic integration within a framework of sacred sound, purification, and symbolic memory repair.

It is part of the “Consciousness & Purification Axis” of the postgraduate training and offers direct transmission of tools such as:

  • Energetic cleansing through sopladas and ikaros

  • Neuro-symbolic healing via guided trance and purging

  • Ancestral contact and dream-state processing

  • Psycare protocols for emotional containment and resilience
