International Propaedeutic Certificate on Therapeutic Guidance with Ancestral Medicines and Enteogens
Certificado, Maestría, Doctorado y Posdoctorado
The Postgraduate Program in Research in Therapeutic Guidance with Ancestral Medicines and Entheogens (Protocol Q) is an endeavor born from the urgent necessity for conscious leadership and inner truth in the healing paths. This program, offering a Master's (2 years), Doctorate (4 years), and PhD (6 years), is the first in Mexico and globally to achieve a complex synthesis: modern science, ancestral wisdom, and ethical rigor. We aim to professionalize facilitators of ancestral medicines and ceremonies, ensuring that this deep knowledge is approached with discipline and respect. The comprehensive curriculum is built upon nine crucial Curricular Pillars designed for integral development.
1. Therapeutic Guidance and Neurosciences
2. Anthropology of Psychedelics and Entheogens
3. Traditional Ancestral Medicine
4. Integral High Performance
5. History and Application of Occultism and Spiritual Sciences
6. Art Therapies, Prayers, and Medicine Songs
7. Research Methodologies and Academic Publications
8. Ongoing Practices and Experiences
9. Brigade for Entheogenic and Spiritual Emergency Response
This foundation is validated by the National College of Forensic Psychologists of Mexico (CONAPPSIM). The International Propaedeutic Certificate (1 Year) acts as the foundational step, aligning credits with Ubiquity University (UU), and the Global Accreditation Council (GAC).
Requirements for the International Propaedeutic Certificate:
To obtain this certificate, candidates must fulfill strict requirements designed to ensure they are prepared to walk the walk:
1. Immersive Practice (Minimum 5 Retreats): Students must complete a minimum of five immersive retreat experiences. This is a mandatory balance, requiring four entheogenic retreats and one non-entheogenic ceremonial experience (such as Vision Quest, Moon Dance, or Sun Dance). Students go to the Elders' mountains and deserts.
2. Academic Rigor: Students must generate and submit at least one research paper or thesis annually. Research is emphasized as one of the program's most important differences.
3. Ethical Commitment (Protocol Q): Strict adherence to the Code of Ethics, focusing on non-violence, respect, humility, and maintaining clear intention.
4. Clinical Safety and Screening: Undergo constant psychological and physical evaluations, utilizing psychometric tools to analyze variables like Depression, Anxiety, Stress, and Substance Abuse. They must also provide a Non-Criminal Background Check every six months.
5. Masterclass Attendance: Maintain active attendance (80% suggested for the Master's level) to classes, seminars, and activities.
"HUAUTLA, MEXICO — Alejandrina Pedro Castañeda opened a brown paper package and pulled out a handful of magic mushrooms, which many residents of this Indigenous Oaxacan town tenderly refer to as “child saints” or “the little ones that sprout.”
O’Farrill runs a master’s and doctoral degree program affiliated with the National School of Forensic Psychologists of Mexico where his approximately dozen students listen to Indigenous guest speakers talk about traditional medicine.
Indigenous healers have led his students through ceremonies with Mushrooms, Peyote, Ayahuasca, Bufo, Jurema, Wachuma and more Sacred Ancestral Medicines." (L.A Times by Leila Miller)
